I bought a Celery 566 to replace my 300A on my Abit BH6. I bought one of those $29 Tekram mb's as a new home for the 300A. According the the manual I can set the bus speed to 83mhz and run the 300a at 374mhz. I will be using some older PC66 memory.
Do you think this will cause any problems or even work?? This will be an upgrade for my 4th computer (a K6-200), so I'm keeping cost at a minimum. Anything else I need to worry about?? Any other cheapie 100mhz Slot 1 motherboards out there??

I've got a 300a@374. It just depends on your components. I guess if you posted all your components. People could tell you whether or not they will run outta spec. IF anybody knows.

I am running an STB Riva128 4mb card, dual Voodoo2's, Soundblaster 16 ISA card, and a Netgear PCI network card on this particular machine.

No, as I wrote above, I bought a CeleronII 566 for my BH6. I will put my old Celeron 300A slot 1 on my Tekram board.

Won't know until you do it. The parts LOOK fine, but ???

I see no reason why it won't, you may not see too much of a gain , and you will be "overclocking" your cards..

That 41.5 Mhz PCI speed is never good, many cards can't handle it. I'd be very careful, especially if the HDDs in that machine are a bit on the older side.
