Tekram Technology announces a complete line of PC mainboards based on the new i815 Chipsets from Intel and PC133 Chipsets from VIA. These new chipsets introduce several new features, including 4X AGP, ATA/100, Advanced graphics technology and expanded USB capability to (4) ports onboard. Tekram's new mainboards offer many built-in features to make system assembly much easier and more cost-effective such as Intel 100Mbps Networking, Communication/Network Riser (CNR) technology and improved AC97 Sound ? all onboard!

The S3Pro-Au+ is the latest addition to Tekram's motherbards based on VIA's fast 694X Pro133A chip set. The key difference of the S3Pro-Au+ is the newly added VIA 686B South Bridge with Ultra ATA 100 IDE support. The S3Pro-Au+ was designed to be used with Intel's Pentium III / Celeron CPU 66/100/133 MHz Front Side Bus Socket 370 microprocessors including the recently announced 1.18 GHz processor. With the 4X AGP Video Adapter slot on board, users can now use the latest high-speed video cards designed for 4X AGP applications. Both AC-97 Sound and AMR slot was implemented for low cost solutions for adding a modem and having sound already on board.

Tekram new i815-based boards will support all major chassis form factors, including ATX, Micro-ATX, and the new Flex-ATX design for small "book sized" PCs. These mainboards are highly upgradeable with Socket 370 support for 133Mhz FSB, accommodating all new Intel Pentium III and Celeron CPUs at 1Ghz and beyond. With the 4X AGP Video Adapter slot on board, users can also upgrade to the latest high-speed video cards designed for gaming and CAD applications. A CNR slot is also implemented for low cost modem solutions.
