It's just a matter of time before game companies can develop net code fast enough to respond to fighting games. Capcom really missed the boat with SF 2 anniversary collection. I would have loved for that to be online!Originally posted by: vr6
i go there for the competition. Graphics is secondary. nothin beats a good competitive game. Playing against A.I. is pretty repetitive. Fight games havn't really went online yet through console, so until then the arcade is the best place for comps.
SF:AC is going to be online ... but for xbox only
I purchased one of these off of Ebay here in anticipation of the fighting games online. i currently have Mortal Kombat Deception and play it on xbox live. while the game is not the best by any means, it is great to actually play it online against real peope instead of the crappy midway AI. i also got that controller in regards SF:AC coming out for xbox live and being able to use it on there. the one i ordered is for ps2, but i have a ps2->xbox controller adapter (and thats actually how that controller works if you order it for xbox from their home site).
also, i built this for my psx/ps2 when I was into the tekkens and fighting games out on psx/ps2. it was awesome at its time (its over 3 years old), but i decided to just buy a prebuilt one that is fit better than the one i built.
the one i ordered shipped yesterday and i cant wait to get it
