Teeth Whitening

dentists' bottomline: over-the-counter whitening can only get so strong without prescription by law. Don't waste your money on it.

Not so sure. I used Crest Professional Strength Whitening Strips - a three week deal. After I had finished people asked me if I had whitened my teeth. I got lots of compliments.

I tried the Crest white strip stuff, but i just can't keep day to day schedule to put them on and usually for me it takes one hour for each applicaton because as much as the commercial says its so easy to have them on, when i put both on, i can't talk or my tongue will knock one out, so i do them one by one for 30 minutes.

Is it possible to have non-white teeth that is not caused by stains? I drink no coffee, no soda and don't smoke. I use a whitening toothpaste but never tried the other products. Just wondering if it's possible to have non-white teeth no caused by stains.

ditto. I used the Crest Whitening strips a couple months ago and just had a dentist checkup. My dentist noticed that my teeth were much whiter, and commented that they looked really good. Both the assistant and dentist were suprised that the Crest strips had worked so well - I was thinking about getting the $300 professional whitening job, but they were both like, wow, you don't need it.

They did make my teeth sensitive during the couple weeks I used them. Kind of a light tingly-hurt, but it went away when I finished.

Oh yeah, the bottom one is harder to keep in. Just put them in at night when you're surfing AT and not talking to anyone 🙂

my teeth are bad when it comes to being yellow color, i got white parts and yellow parts but very noticible, i probably would need two or three crest application kits to get something good.

I never had anything but those store kits so thats why i just want to get this over with a do a faster method.

hmm, not sure. It looks like they come in two types - Crest Whitestrips Premium and Crest Whitestrips. Here's their website.
