Tell us about the 60s. I'll be more interested in that, I swear.

I wish I could, unfortunately I wasn't alive back then. Though I am sure it was better, it must've fscking been!

It was better if you were an upper middle class white christian adult male. For others it sucked.

Thats pretty rude.

At least gave the OP the curtesy of reading the entire post. :disgust:

Good for the two adults in the news story, I hope they are happier and richer for it. :)

So you read every thread you click on? You must have a lot of time on your hands.

Yep.

Sounds nothing more different than that of how cults get people.

people who post anything remotely about religion are stupid. NEVER POST ANYTHING ABOUT ANY RELIGION. will people here ever learn?

unless if it's a discussion about the mythology like that one thread about that one fallen angel which was a great discussion, any religion thread should be locked.

P&N should be called P&R damn it

It started three years ago when Greta, 15, came to our door selling plants. We were impressed to hear that her church youth group was raising money to bring 13 Romanian students to Brockport for two weeks on an exchange mission program. We soon met several families in Greta's evangelical church.

Just curious: I'm sure we've all bought junk that people were selling door-to-door, and sometimes even were impressed with the group's fund-raising goals.

But has anyone EVER gone from there, to meeting several families from the door-to-door selling group?

Some people have way too much time on their hands.

Why should threads about cars or girls be allowed but not threads about spirituality and religion?

That is because typically religious topics turn into a flame fest and massive amounts of dipshittery is expressed from most of the posters.

Well I appreciated the story, so I'm posting. I believe that one reason so many people don't like christians or the christian faith is because some "christians" preach loving thy neighbor and purity etc etc but don't live their own lives that way. i.e. hypocrites.

A story of how of a christian is supposed to live their life; and by acutally doing so, leading others to God, is refreshing.

thanks

There are lots of good people out there regardless of their religion.

Rip must think we're all godless heathens. Stop saving me and go bother someone else.
