im a teenager...and i would love mitsu's....or whatever the lower end cars are...just get a GOOD model and not some crappy grandpa model 🙂

weird .. they hate toyota more than hyundai?

i mean the tiburon (the new) looks good, but i thought kids liked celica 😛

weird...

I would like to look at the results taking interest/knowledge of cars in consideration. Mazda? "Zoom zoom and style"?? WTF does that mean?? Only the Miata has style. I always thought Volvo as a brand for older people.

Proof that advertising to MORON teenagers work. This is the exact reason why I don't want to have kids. The world should be wiped out and started over.

I would think is more about word of mouth and peer pressure maybe? I dunno who started the "Hondas are cool and fast cars", but the idea has snowballed in teenagers' minds apparently.

Well if you think about it... typically the average family can only afford a civic/saturn/pontiac/mazda. I guess VW is there since they can afford a Beetle. What happens is kids turn whatever is "average" into what is cool. Of course advertising works because I bet that Ford and some others are cheaper than Honda. What gets my goat is that kids think mazda is cool, but then rank Ford near the bottom of the list. That doesn't even make sense...

I guess it is good that parents have convinced kids that a practical car can be nice, but I don't know about the "cool" factor.

being past my teen years, I don't see why there is so much hatred towards hondas here. As far as I can tell, my '89 Civic Hatchback still drives almost as reliably as it did the first day I bought it (used 6 years ago)- not a single problem, good gas mileage, and completely reliable. But of course, even citing the reputation of Hondas as reliable, economic cars, most people here would take any excuse to insult teenagers.

Why are we bashing teens here? I thought Honda's made solid, reliable cars? Doesn't that make them smart for wanting a decent car...

NO ONE EVER SAID THEY WEREN'T RELIABLE OR GOT GAS MILEAGE! READ THE THREAD! People said that they couldn't believe Honda and Pontiac would be ranked above Acura, Lexus, Mercedes, BMW, Nissan, Toyota, etc.

Idiots.

i think that survery they took is frekaing retarded. i think they asked the teens what car would you want that is attainable not what car would you want if money was no object. i mean i'm a teenager and i'd want a bmw or acura before i wanted a honda. the thing is there is no way in hell my parents would get me a bmw or acura so i would have to say honda too since its way more attainable.
