Almost everything's been done in the past 100 years or so.

I was thinking a new live action Turtles, but animated is definitely better.

And what about Batman? Good lord we just go through the ordeal that was Batman & Robin and somebody felt the need to make a new, NEW batman series.

No, I agree that Hollywood has definitely run out of ideas, but when they only go back part of a decade, we are in BIG trouble.

I wish they would continue with the Lord Of The Rings idea. We already have a buttload of great scripts in a special place just waiting to be read.
Its called the library.
And with all the success they had in the Rings Trilogy you think Hollywood would have been snatching up books left and right and making deals with authors all over the place.

Live Action is so much better than animated. Seriously, the frist Turtles movie was great.

I dunno though, the CG looks pretty damn cool for this TMNT movie.

When I first read animated in this thread before watching, I thought it was like the current cartoon , which I just cannot get into like the old cartoons or old movies. But after seeing the preview, the way it looks like it's going is pretty awesome. I will DEFINITELY see this movie.

And MetalMat ... this isn't a remake of an old film ...
 
Now if they only had some Teenage Mutant Pirate Frogs to fight....maybe then we'd get some questions answered!
 
at first when i saw title i was like no way this is going to be stupid, not another movie, the last ones where horrible!! but now that they have gone to cg, i see this being better, can't stand real people next to mutant turtles. if everybody is cg/cartoon ish then it would be a great thing. and it seems that way so they might get my 8 bucks to watch the movie, cuz the first movie i ever saw without my parents was the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and i was awesome!!! (hehe 6th grade, at a huge cinema that is not defunk)
 
thank god for QT alternative, otherwise this would framelag like crazy on my comp. im mixed about this though - it has potential to either suck hard, or be really good. glad to see someone is finally doing a movie in CG
