Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are actually aliens

Being aliens that just happen to look like turtles makes it even less believable. Not that it matters all that much in this case. I would rather they take it in a dark, resident evilish genetic engineering using a mutagenic virus direction. Oh wait, didnt they already have "ooze" or something filling part of that role?

If I remember right the mutagen in the original comic was of alien origin but alien turtles is quite a stretch.

I don't see how it can be any worse than the original movies. Loved the cartoon, had the toys, played the video games, but the movies were horrible. I probably enjoyed them as a kid, but now they are absolute crap.
 
yeah i read that. WTF aliens!? what part of MUTANT did he not get?

I would love a movie based off the original B&W comics. I have all the orginal comics until Archie comics got involved then gave up on them. though i picked them up again and they seem to have gone back to there roots.

Those were bad in a good way. I can still watch the first one today.

I can't wait for the CGI turtles aliens to kick some ass with their ninja martian arts.
 
Has anyone watched the TV show? where they introduce the female turtle? my son found it on netflix and even he said it sucked.

I agree it went downhill with the sequels but I thought the first film was pretty good for its time. Having re-watched it again it was definitely alot grittier and darker than most kids films I can remember.

And regarding Bay seriously, fuck you, Michael. We already remember what TMNT was when Jim Henson created the costumes on the big screen. He got it right.

This, the first live action Turtles movie was pretty awesome.

Same with the newer CG TMNT movie with Patrick Stewart.

Bay's TMNT flick will most likely suck.
