Teen w taser vs father with concealed gun.

Where did I defend the kid here? I'll tell you where, no where. Just because I don't agree with shooting someone in the back doesn't mean I think the other person wasn't wrong. Kid was wrong and dude shooting him in the back was wrong, that's pretty simple. Obviously the kid with the taser's a shit head who needs his father, uncle or some male in his family to beat his ass into a near coma

By taking the stance that shooting a fleeing criminal is wrong, you are defending the kid's actions. A criminal turning his back on the victim and claim to be fleeing doesn't excuse the criminal from retribution.

“It happened so fast I wasn’t sure. I just know something was shoved into my side. I wasn’t sure if it was a knife, if it was anything,” he told police.

Would have read better if he said, "I felt a sharp, excruciating and stabbing pain in my back. I turned and saw a young male jabbing me back and forth with a stabbing motion with an object that had a large black handle."

Who knows what the whole report says, but people need to understand that deadly force can only be met when you are in fear of serious physical injury or death.

If you say, "Nah I wasn't really in fear of anything. I had no clue what was going on." And then you shoot someone, you can get in trouble.

Annnnyway, this kid reminds me of this. lol

WTF is wrong with kids these days. The other day there was an article where kids killed a jogger because they were bored and didn't have anything to do.

If my kid is ever involved in something like this I swear the cops better lock him up just to keep him out of my hands.

WTF? Ya, one goofy story and now we all need guns? I'd say in 1870 we needed more than now.

Have you done any research on the subject or are you relying on one story?

This happens every day. Sometimes it makes the news, sometimes it doesn't. What doesn't make the news is the tens of thousands of times that a CPL holder brandishes his gun and the situation de-escalates without a shot fired. I promised its many, many times the number reported.

If every law abiding citizen were armed, the criminals would have to rob and kill each other. I'd be ok with that.

This may see a trial of some type given the tendency of CCN and other media outlet to jump on any case involving a gun and any case involving a black kid and a white man. Even if the investigating agency doesn't think charges are warranted for the man there maybe a cry from the public, fired up by the media, to prosecute him. The fact that the thug was shot in the back/ass may well be all the fuel they need to jin this up like the Zimmerman/Martin case.

I'm not happy about the kid being shot in the back/ass but when confronted by someone that wishes you harm and uses a deadly weapon to accomplish that I have no problem whatever with the man pulling his gun to defend himself and his child. At close range even someone who's technically turned his back to you does not cease to pose a threat and the thug had already demonstrated a desire to harm him.

Someone posted the Twitter account of the thug involved and it doesn't look good for him so my guess is, even though CNN might be tempted to pull another Travon Martin game they will pull back and avoid an obvious mistake...

I very much suggest that you and anyone else who thinks this stuff never happens to read your local police blotter.

These violent random attacks happen ALL the time, even in small towns. Victims rarely contact the media, they don't want people to know that a couple of thugs viciously assaulted and robbed them, if not worse.

Same thing with the home invasions... Where a crew of 3-4 thugs kick down the front door while screaming police... Wearing swat vests and masks/hoodies.... Tie up the homeowners.... Then they take turn raping the wife/women while the others turn the house upside down.

Families do NOT want those stories or their names getting out, and that's the only reason you don't hear about it on a weekly basis.

That wont happen.
MI is a rational state.. Trial not required.

He isn't defending the kid's actions, he criticising the actions taken by both people in the story.

So it's not reported but somehow you know it happens "all the time".

Yeah, that happens "all the time".

If you drive along a road and see all the mail poking out of the letterbox, it's not because it's the weekend and people are still in bed - it's cos they're all tied up inside and getting raped by gangs of 3-4 thugs, all of them dressed up in SWAT gear.

Are you familiar with police blotters?

They list crimes without names and specific addresses. It's a great way to see what's going on in your community, as the local media rarely picks up on these local city police blotters.

Burglary on Ridgeview Drive

3:44 p.m.: Two burglars kicked in the back door of a residence on the 5000 block of Ridgeview Drive and ransacked a home office while two of the residents were home. One resident was tied up and sexually assaulted. The victim reported a fanny pack with a cell phone, ID and credit cards missing.

"

Its been proven over and over. Its not that hard to research something before pulling a theory out of the air.

Right...... Until sharpton and the thug supporters get wind of it and start a massive media campaign to exonerate the thugs.

Thankfully it's been shown that sharpton and his crew have no power over justice. They can control the social aspects and add plenty of hate and division but in the end.... Justice will prevail.

Well hopefully this dumbass kid learned a lesson and will be better for it.

Can they charge the friends with anything? Aren't they accomplices, couldn't they do something about conspiracy to commit?

You don't have nearly enough information to know that yet.

Spatial, where can I find one of these for Fort Collins, CO? I searched, but nothing obvious was found.

Which is why the "trust me, it happens all the time" argument is so bullshit.
