A Minnesota teenager had to have his testicle amputated after being punched in the groin by a classmate, KARE11.com reported Friday.
David Gibbons, 14, was changing classes in his Crosby, Minn. high school when he was attacked by another student playing a game called “sack tapping.”
David’s mother, Christy Gibbons, said it wasn’t until hours later that they realized something was wrong.
"One o'clock in the morning he woke me up and told me he was in excruciating pain," she said.
David was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital in Brainerd, Minn. where surgeons removed his right testicle.
And David is not the only student who has suffered the consequences of the “sack tapping” game.
"It's just gotten way out of control," said Dr. Scott Wheeler, a urologist in Brainerd, Minn. who says he performs three to four surgeries a year on boys with ruptured testicles and other complications as a result of “sack tapping.”
"All parents, you need to have this talk with your kids not to do it. It's lost its humor. It's not a game anymore. People get hurt," he added.

OUCH. talk about bad luck, or he got 'tapped' really hard. whenever it happened to me, it was soft and lasting pain, nothing hard. good thing that phase has passed in my school

Well to clarify it's not quite like the story makes it sound. Theres no game or anything, not everyone does it, it's not "what the kids are doing these days". Just every once in awhile someone gets tapped. Kids aren't just running around punching each other in the nuts all day

This is what happens when kids grow up in a society that does not let them come to terms with their homosexuality. They hate themselves. They hide it and suppress it. Every now and then some commit violent and thinly-veiled homosexual acts, trying to fool themselves into thinking that they are tough men.

We snapped each other with towels. Occasionally, someone would do the "Bangkok" gag on someone. e.g.

"Do you know the capital of Thailand?"

"Umm, I think its..."

"Bangkok!"

And they would slap the guy in the frontal section or just smack them in the balls using a quick back-side flip of the hand. But not a direct punch to the sack. Jeezus...

Some of the wrestlers used to play the choke-out game where they would put each other in a choke-hold and apply pressure until the kid passed out. And I understand that's dangerous as well.

But we had no broom handle anal penetration and the other idiotic types of hazing kids are doing these days.
