A North Florida teen who "felt disrespected" by her mother after she heard her having sex in an adjoining bedroom called 911 to report the lovemaking, according to a police report.
The 15-year-old called 911 last Thursday around 4 a.m. after she heard her mother and her boyfriend in the act and got upset, according to the Panama City Police report obtained by theSmokingGun.com.
An officer who responded reported that the mother and daughter had "been involved in a verbal altercation" when he arrived.
The mother, 35, told police that she had invited her boyfriend over, and with their rooms were being to each other, her daughter had heard them at some point and became upset.
The teen girl told police that there was no form of abuse or neglect in the house, but she wanted to be placed in a Christian children's shelter, the report said.
After speaking with a staff member at the shelter over the phone, the teen decided to stay home because it was almost time for school, the report said.
The cop on duty left a domestic rights brochure at the residence, the report said.

Look at the transformed world today with modern networks, young entrepreneurs making apps/finding niche/becoming successful.

I say we're getting smarter as generations live on.
 
As soon as we all realize that the children are in charge the better. The children have the power to call any number of abuse or neglect toll free phone numbers and/or the police and they will be taken out of the home to a shelter. The parents then must get an attorney and defend themselves in court at the cost of thousands. Is it better to just let your child have her way, not do homework, stay out late, steal money, etc. and then look the other way? Which is cheaper and which keeps the child home? If children knew how much power they really have they would rule the parents and be able to get anything they want! The courts believe kids quicker than parents. Heck, the courts will even give the child a FREE attorney and make the parents pay for it. They are called 'GAL' Guardian Ad Litem. Give in to your kid, otherwise, they will make you pay 10 times later on.

however, since you have it does not mean you can use it whenever and however you want to. It comes with responsibility, if you are not responsible, modern day Africa happens.

Don't you see an alarming increase in stupidity in the general population within the past 15 years or so? Just look at the things people watch on TV and listen to on the radio. When has art and entertainment ever been as poor as it is now?

I'm not saying that there weren't any dumbass people before now, obviously.
I just think that our culture is in a steady downward spiral and I think that things were better before.

This being said, my response to this thread was completely irrelevant to the topic, but for some reason, this just made me think about what I posted.

Ok, slow down people. It's not the act that's bad, it's the NOISE level. The thing you should figure out first before you jump to conclusions is if the report mentions anything about noise. THEN you can make a judgement.

I mean, if the mom's 35 and the kid's 15...that means the woman was about 20 when she had her daughter. So...if anything, she's just preparing her daughter for what she'll be doing in 5 years! 😛

Failed parenting for raising an idiot.

The kid was 15. Pretty sure she knows about the birds and the bees by now, and has probably had intercourse herself. The parent is an adult, and I assuming the boyfriend is as well, kid's opinion of the boy friend is irrelevant.
