And his comparison is painfully accurate and not an insult at all. The tea party shut down the government causing billions in financial harm to the country and leaving 1000's without income for weeks for a poor publicity stunt that had zero chance of accomplishing anything, throwing their own senior leadership under the bus and tanking GOP polling numbers. And they seem poised to do it again.

Actually jihadists are slightly more honorable as they are willing to die for their cause, tea partiers are cowards and don't have near that kind of conviction.

He called the Tea Party jihadists so yes he will be called out.

The Tea Party didn't shut down the government, obama did. And they didn't cause harm to the US but obama did when he would rather default for political purposes. They were never going to default, anyone who believes they were needs to have their heads examined. Defaulting would be disastrous and it's prohibited. The argument was over raising the debt ceiling which is different. They could pay the interest payments without going over the debt ceiling.

Tea Partiers are not cowards but you and your ilk who blame for them when obama was responsible.

Wishful thinking from the extreme right again. Most Americans have not even begun the shopping process. My employer has not even finalized our choices yet for 2014. Why don't we wait and see how Obamacare/Romneycare turns out early next year!

I am a moderate Republican who is fed up with the Tea Party and the extremes on the right. I don't care for them nearly as much as the extreme liberals. I am also fed up with the partisan ideologies. I am all for cutting taxes, but I wouldn't go as far as claiming Democrats as tax hungary or tax wasters. Both parties waste tax dollars.

Fact is: NO POLITICIANS likes to raise taxes. Period. The extreme right just don't get it and continue to live in a shrinking little bubble.

I don't see ACA as a "Democrat" act. It's an United States of America act. We are in it together whether we like it or not. We succeed or fail as a nation. My country elected the opposing Democrat President and I hope he succeeds o his policies because my own party imho is pulling to far to the right.

Anyone hear what Ted Cruz's father said in 2012: "send Obama back to Kenya". His old man was on camera and had no problem spreading this nonsense. If Ted Cruz was raised by this guy then everything is pretty self explanatory.
