Want to take on "The Screen Savers" crew in a fun multiplayer frag-fest? Well, you'll have a chance to every night on the show during Sports Week, April 15-19. We're going to have our own LAN party while the show's live (7 - 8:30 p.m. Eastern) each night all week, and you're invited.
Get the games
To play with us, you need to have at least one of the games we'll use. Here's our schedule (with links to each of the games):
Monday, April 15, and Thursday, April 18 -- Return to Castle Wolfenstein
Tuesday, April 16 -- Counter-Strike
Wednesday, April 17 and Friday, April 19 -- Quake III
Play with us
On Monday we'll kick off the event by showing you how to set up your own LAN party, and all week long you'll get a chance to join ours and play against these folks:
"Screen Savers" and TechTV staff
Guests we have on the shows
And, on Wednesday, you can attempt to take on "Quake" champion Dennis Fong (a.k.a. Thresh)
Check back here for instructions on how to connect with our party and play. Depending on server load, anywhere from 70-150 people will get to play each day. Get ready to frag.
