You still can overclock via bclk.. Files are out there for all kinds of boards.. Like here for example..

Thanks. I am somewhat of a novice and didn't know those bios were safe to use.

As I purchased an I5 6600 non K the first of the month at Amazon, I am somewhat pissed at the situation and still considering a return and purchasing a 6600K (only 20 bucks more).

Hell, at $20 difference, I'd do that in a heart beat, just to be safe..
