I think you don't get it:
The latest patch decreases performance on nVidia hardware, after nVidia and Eidos worked together to improve performance and stability.

Eidos did not test it on nVidia hardware or sent the code to nVidia so they could do the work for them. They released something which hurt a second time the experience for nVidia user.

If you think that is okay then we don't need to talk further.

It happens in tons of games if you are new to the GPU industry. It happened in CIV5 for nV. It also happened in a few other titles for nV. Maybe they should stop whining and make more robust drivers that don't fall apart as soon as a game is patched.

I'd also like to see proof of decreased performance for nV after the patch. The only ones hurting the experience for nV is Nvidia who aren't working with developers well enough and instead focusing on Tegra and whatnot. If the card is slow, dump it and get one that works. Best advice I can give you.

I guess you mean Shogun 2. Oh another GE title in which a patch decreased performance on nVidia hardware. :hmm:

How could they work with developers when the developers are not interesting in working with them? :|

So Eidos, worked with nVidia for the 1st patch now they don't want to even though they say they are? Sounds legit.

It's not AMD's job to delay to delay performance improvements for their users cause Nvidia can't release a proper driver. I wouldn't be surprised if they were cheating somehow and they new patch caught them out.

If AMD's hardware doesn't get slower as games are patched whether it is GE or TWIMTP or neither then the issue here is not Eidos trying to screw over half their userbase which would be idiotic.

Either Eidos are just doing a terrible job at the game or Nvidia are doing a terrible job with drivers.

Actually the problem was, Nvidia released a driver to fix an issue in tomb raider that was causing slow performance. Edios released a patch that optimized and essentially negated Nvidias original fix. Now Nvidia needs to fix the fix.
What ever Nvidias fix did is the question.

Eitherway Nvidia is a pretty disappointing product right and I am feeling sorry I chose them this gen.
