At least your parents seem to be able to at least understand that this is all tech lingo.

I have trouble with my parents remembering how to do basic tasks on the computer - like how many times to click something, how to open/save/print attachments, etc etc.

My mom is able to get around the computer fairly well. My dad is improving, but I often get a call from time to time asking for instructions.

My aunt double clicks everything on the internet and single clicks everything else. She thinks google is some kind of portal to the rest of the internet, she goes there and types www.whatever.com into the search field. No concept of multiple windows or tabbing, and if something gets minimized it's "where did it go???". I made the mistake of building it so I get a bewildered call about these things every few nights. Should have recommended dell.
