Technical support

Well I called Dell today because I wanted to get a monitor and their customer service reps are all in India. I called and talked to one woman, who then transferred me to their Finance department and I had hopes the finance department was someone in the US but know it was someone else with a stronger accent who for some reason had a better job understanding me. Indian reps ftl.

I had to repeat my info and she couldn't understand the word "builders."

Our company is actually growing because be tech support going to India. The first thing many of our customers ask is "Does your support speak English???" 🙂

Oh the irony.

(EMFDYSI?)

I'm technically outsourced, but I'm in the US. We will not be moving. This is because Universities are willing to spend the money, while other businesses are not.

Some companies still need in-house technical support, working on getting a entry-level job doing exactly that.

Racist threads ftw?

Ordering online ftl?

I ordered on the phone actually... there is no way to order Dell other than online...

How would you order then?

What the hell?

First you say you ordered on the phone.

Then you say you can only order online.

Then you ask me how I would?

😕
