GO check out X2 thread on in stock and you will see prominent members like jpeyton has received email confimration that both of his 4400+'s have been shipped...i think he ordered from tiger direct..OEM ones I believe....

Sorry, duvie. I took out what I wrote because I didn't mean it. I understand your reasoning for grouping me, a strange face, with the Intel trolls (which I am most certainly not). I wish I had registered long ago but for whatever reason I waited this long. I'm just impatient for the X2 and I'm sitting here with a PC half-built, waiting for it to complete my build 🙁

I feel your pain...Venice riled some ppl up as well with slow shipping dates....

AMD need to up production if they want to cpature this marketsahre waiting impatiently for them....
 
TechData does not have them in stock, unfortunately. I know, we have an account with them.

Average customers can't buy from them either; they are a distributor. You must be a registered business, with a Federal tax ID, local state re-seller's license, you must pass thier credit checks, and pay an application fee. On top of that, you cannot use what you purchase there for personal use; it must be for resale.

And yes, the IRS gets copies of everything you buy from them, so if you buy there and don't resell it, the IRS knows 🙂

I know, I know...patience, grasshopper, but you know what I'm using now to type this? An IBM Celeron PC...it's a backup web-browser of a PC that features the original Celeron, and it's running 128MB of PC133 SDRAM. I've got an empty case sitting next to me with an X2-ready motherboard and 2GB of OCZ 2-3-2-5 Platinum. My X800Pro sits idle in the case, just waiting to load up Battlefield 2 once my new system is put together. I've got everything but my CPU. I'm just very annoyed by this situation and I reacted in a fashion that is out of character for me. I wish I hadn't. Duv, if you don't mind removing my comments, I'd appreciate it...it pains me to know it's out there 🙁
