The preorder pricing is good at least,$450-$500 on Newegg, Amazon, and B&H, depending on specific model.

You can get a nice gtx1080 for $509 , I think the target price for this card should be about$40 less.
After the initial price gouging as usual the gtx1070ti should settle in at about $460 with the original 1070 at $420 and gtx1080 in the low 500' s.
Seems performance wise, that's where it should be. Nvidia seems to be competing with itself here.

The Vega 56 and 64 both need a $50/$70 price drop now to even be relevant.

Looking at the Newegg listings for the GTX1070ti, and considering one. Possibly for me, possibly for a friend.

How do they stack up to an RX 470 / 570 4GB card? For gaming? For mining? (I will be doing both on it.)

Is it likely that these will make ROI mining with NiceHash in 6-8-12 months?

I've seen used 1070's for $360. It seems to be working.

That is still above MSRP($349) for used, so it isn't working very well.

price in my country for the 1070TI: 650$.
same price as the old 1070 inventory, which was priced back when the Dollar was stronger than it is today.
no reason to buy any of them. just no.

Yes, it should be around 50-60% faster with 50-75 less watts consumed.
