hey, so when you signed up in january, you didn't post anything? no "hellos", "pics", "bite mes"?
also, you need to give a fairly good reason/hook for regular users to migrate. discussion is already going on here, why go there?

The only reason that I had created an account in January is because someone sent me to look at some of the For Sale/Trade items to give them my opinion and I needed an account to look and ask other members about it. Then school happened and I lost all free time.

And then yesterday I was told to try this. I honestly don't know about any "hellos", "pics", or "bite mes".

As for going over there from here, it would only take a short amount of extra time to help this forum take off. We've been needing users who aren't idiots, as some are, and from what I've seen in such a short time, these users are not. If I shouldn't have posted that advertisement here, I understand and won't be doing that again.

I'm not going to join your forums because I simply don't care... but I will tell you that from experience, you can't expect your forums to hit it big in a short amount of time unless your content it unique.

Like it's been said... why would I bother going to your forums if I can go somewhere that already has plenty to talk about?

Unfortunately (for you), there are thousands of forums on the internet with the exact same content as you have.

Also, I can tell you that for a site with little activity, you have too many forums. People stumble on to the site and see that each forum has a dozen or less posts and think that the site is a POS... if they do actually visit it, they have to go into new forums a dozen or so times to see all the posts... it's annoying to have to check a new forum just to see a few lousy posts.

Finally, if you want interesting conversation... start it.
