Teaser Trailer: Pixar's 2008 Movie "Wall-e"

Since I installed Quicktime Alternative, I have been downloading all the 720p trailers from Apple.

Kick ass content for free. I transfer to a HTPC and watch on my LCD HDTV.

Isn't this a little far out to be showing trailers? It's still 12 months away. I though the trailer for the Will Smith movie coming in December was bad enough.

"Number 5, no disassemble!"

Pixar always puts out trailers/teasers for their next movie when their current movie comes out.

Since when were advertisements not free? 🙂

I've never thought of trailers as ads.

That trailer sucked. No clue what the story is. WTF. That was a teaser clip for a teaser trailer.

I thought it was good (better that Ratouille for sure), but you have a point re: story.

It's the story of the Rush song "The Body Electric".

One humanoid escapee
One android on the run
Seeking freedom beneath a lonely desert sun

Trying to change its program
Trying to change the mode -- crack the code
Images conflicting into data overload

Chorus

1-0-0-1-0-0-1
SOS
1-0-0-1-0-0-1
In distress
1-0-0-1-0-0

Memory banks unloading
Bytes break into bits
Unit One's in trouble and it's scared out of its wits

Guidance systems break down
A struggle to exist
To resist
A pulse of dying power in a clenching plastic fist

Chorus

It replays each of the days
A hundred years of routines
Bows its head and prays
To the mother of all machines
