For those of you who have 16ms response time LCD monitor, do you still see tearing problems during gameplay or movie play? thx.

I hear the best pixel pitch or dot pitch for lcd monitors out there is .26mm. Whereas, the crt monitors go down to 0.20mm. I am not sure how the difference of about .05mm in dot pitch will affect the sharpness of your image.

Any thoughts?

I have the ViewSonic VP171b and do not have any tearing problems in games. I did notice though that despite what I've read in reviews and forums, using the DVI input instead of d-sub made a BIG difference in image quality for me. Overall the display is brighter and clearer than my old CRT (ctx w/trinitron tube), the only issue is the text is not quite as sharp in some instances, mainly small print.
