Teaming Network Adapters

Hi, I wish to use both the onboard and PCI slot NIC's in the firm's file server to give better I/O response.
I believe this is possible and uses the same original IP address of the 1st which is enabled.
I dont have 3rd party NIC software for this, does anyone have any ideas?

you'll need special nics and switches to do it.

The nics and switch ports need to support teaming via etherchannel or Link Aggregation.

Easy solution: Upgrade to gigabit. easiest and best thing you can do. Make things easy on yourself.

Done, got updated drivers and they have the built-in software....wicked. thanks guys
