I know this has been mentioned before, but has anymore thought been put into offering @teamanandtech.com email addresses? If Mika isn't up to it (that is who owns teamanandtech.com, right?), I'll offer to host the email server, the DNS MX would just need to point to me. It could be a little incentive to join AnandTech, having your own teamanandtech email addy.

Anyone?

 
We've thought about it, but we're agianst it for the time being. Too many liability/spamming issues.😱

Yes, there are several workarounds concerning the spamming issue. It's all in how the email system is implemented. The simple answer would be to just not provide SMTP service, have all mail routed through an external interface.

Regarding liability, that isn't exactly my area of expertise, but I believe if the spamming was kept to a minimum, (or non existant), then the liability factor would be null. I'm not sure of any copyright issues with the AnandTech name, but I'm sure it's been discussed.
