I can't tell if this is just some sort of administrative message from the actual moderator of the list or just someone trying to collect e-mail addresses from the replies, any thoughts? BTW I did not just sign up, I've been on the (mostly inactive) list for some time now.
 
Yo_Ma-Ma: Dunno about this message. I checked my Email address I use for SETI@Home and I had no such thing. Looks like you signed up for an Email list a while back and I'd guess it's been inactive for a while and just came up. Looks harmless either way.

Interesting ,the SETI Team Anandtech logo is the original logo we use to have for the Team listing ,the link was lost a long time ago ,I think it belonged to a long lost SETI member.

On 2nd thougts this site does look familar ,&amp; I do remember signing up to an E mail list but never recieved anything..........
The founding date is March 2000! ,about right I think
