Obama just shows what a coward he is by not personally swimming over there and decapitating those terrorists with a butter knife, as all his predecessors have done in situations like this. Instead he risks the lives of 'Special Forces' to push forward his crypto-fascist socialist Muslim agenda.

Truly the worst president in the history of this great country. He needs to be impeached.

Very well. So my initial skepticism was unfounded. I stand corrected.

This certainly makes me view your comment you're not conservative with more credibility. They never stand corrected on much of anything. I have, over the years, discovered so many false assumptions in my emotional reactions to things that even though I may not have acquired the wisdom to look before I leap, I remember half way down that the pool I just dove into may be empty.

I thought it a bit interesting how the phrase "hit'em over there so they don't hit us here" that sprung out of the Bush propaganda campaign to depose Saddam Hussein (if I recall correctly) has more of a truthful timbre now than when Bush first shook it at Saddam and that "horde of terrorists" he was supposedly sheltering in Iraq.

I think that Obama has shaken off or at the least redefined the stereotype that all Dem presidents of late are woosies and all Repub presidents are "manly men" when it comes to making war on our enemies.

The mission was aborted because the SEALS did not want to fire on the children being used as human shields.

The SEALS did the right thing by abort their mission but it is frustrating knowing that these kids are going to become warlord soldiers or pirates and that the inevitable is just being delayed.

Until the corruption in Somalia is removed, these kids will never have a future.
