So, I've not found much technical info on these drives but they seem to have good user reviews and they are cheap. Are these DRAM-less? I need a new drive to move to Win 10 and I don't want to lose my Win 7 install, at least not for a while.

I looked to see if I could find any info on them, and I came up empty. The max write speed is 480 MBps, so that is slower than other mid-range drives, so it could be this is a DRAM-less drive.

I'd personally only buy a SSD if I knew exactly what the specs were, and its overall performance. Many of the drives around this price aren't the best performers. You can get a drive like the Sandisk Ultra 3D for about $20 more. Also, the same drive (Western Digital Blue 3D) has been on sale recently for $99 at places like Newegg.

I bought 60 of the 512GB versions of these drives to upgrade all the PCs at my job to win10 as win7 is EOL. Cost about 40 bucks and work great! 3yr warranty as well.
