I'd assume so. It's a shame too since I still love TFC. I prefer class-based games as opposed to weapons-based games like CS. But now other games are incorporating TF elements (like RTCW) so even if they came to the market now it probably wouldn't be as well received. They spent too much time farting around with their decision on game engines last I heard. Oh well. Maybe they can just do the same thing again and make TF an official expansion pack to the next Half-Life (which is still a go as far as I know.)

TF2 is alive and well. Its the popularity of Counter-Strike that has made Valve think twice about TF2. Think about it, a free TFC is what got a lot of people to buy Half-Life. Now Counter-Strike is getting people to buy Half-Life. TF2 will be retail, but CS2 will be free, but only on TF2 engine.

It'll be released right after Duke Nukem Forever...

And I think Q3F is better than TFC or CS, although development isn't happening as fast I would like.
