The BOSS 😉 said we were blocking the halls hanging around the "water cooler" so he has provided us with this new "BREAK ROOM". 🙂

Notice the high capacity, never-empty coffee maker! Now that's real progress. 😀

I think it's about time "WE" are finally fully appreciated and given a more proper environment to screw around and waste company time. :laugh:
 
Have any hot water for tea or hot chocolate? I don't drink coffee.....

How about some bagels and cream cheese? 🙂

The hot water is the spigot on the left. The hot chocolate machine will be installed later this morning.

Now everybody be sure and put your paper cups and napkins in the trash can. This is "our" place and we've got to keep it clean. 😀

Oh, I slipped this request by the ole man.

"Mr. Boss,

There is a definite need for fermented beverages in the "Break Room". Do I have your permission to requisition one?"

Aye, on the beer, smokes, bagels, and whatever else gets recommended. I'll get the ole Man to sign the requisition order right before he takes his after lunch (and martini) nap. :laugh:

Oh - you mean we're not supposed to be recycling those paper cups? Oops. I'll stop doing that now. 😱

 
It is obvious we need an even larger break room(s). lol

And so no one gets offended we will also get recycle bins for each and every possible item. 😛 😀

Definitely need a "Smokers" room. Let's make it adjoin the "Non-Smoker" room with a clear glass separation but with a fancy speaker system where we can all carry on our conversations no matter which room we may occupy at the time. :light:

You all know how from time to time we have had discussions about "mini-teams" vs "individuals" stats in the various projects?

Well, I was just thinking if there was a way to use the "nodes" ("computers" - for you folks in Rio Linda 😛 ) that some projects are starting to report as a means of creating "categories", we might have a lot more interest and friendly competition.

For example,

1 - 3 nodes
4 - 9 nodes
10 - 20 nodes
21 - 50 nodes
51 - 99 nodes
100+ nodes

hmmmmm😕
 
Another thing to consider is the fact that many of these "individuals" aren't really "individual " at all.Many if not all have badgered, begged, and by any other means possible, got their friends, family, and coworkers into crunching for them under their accounts.
How many people have a DC project crunching on their work machine at work?
How many have worked on computers for people and installed a DC project on those machines.
What makes these "individual" difference from the Rebel Alliance or Enterprise except we give credit to these folks instead of take credit for these folks?
 
All true, Freewolf, but I just can't think of any other way to categorize results beyond the number of computers. Any ideas on how we could?

Can't say that I can but then again crunching is what I do best not thinking. My silly brain thinks as long as it is for the TeAm that is all that matters to me.
