Getting into R/C's and seen a good deal on a used Team Associated RC10 T3. Curious can parts still be bought for this model? I heard it was several years old(or no)?

Getting 2 batteries,charger,truck(no body) and radio. Has a Runner LRP speed control in it. All for $60 says he just wants to get rid of it since its been sitting for 2 years.

It was my first "Real" RC, shat loads of fun.
I'm sure you can still find all the aluminum and graphite parts, and you'll always be able to buy the lastest motors for it.
 
That's a great deal. I used to race Losi... a XXT, XXNT, XXCR, XXX. Half the guys ran Losi, the other half ran Associated. The T3 is a great truck though. You probably won't get a ton of fun out of it if you aren't racing it at a real track. Those higher end trucks aren't made for out back type play. If you are racing it at a real track, with real racers, it is great. Parts are available online, EVERYWHERE. Try TowerHobbies.com. There should be local hobby shops that have parts as well...
 
Any of you guys remember the Tenth Technology Predator? Probably the craziest pro electric RC buggy out there: designed in a wind tunnel and such a dream to drive. They seem to have amuch lower profile these days... anyone still race them here? been 8 yrs+ since I did...
 
Went ahead and bought it. I need a body can someone recommend a good FS/FT forum for R/C's? Can it be any body? Also are parts easy to get for this thing? Its a the stadium truck not the car. Some ppl get them confused.
 
mmm, it's been awhile for me.

I always wanted a Losi truck, but all I could afford at the time was the Traxxas Rustler...killer rig, I loved it.

Get a few of the cheapest ones you can find and one that you like the looks of. You'll go through the cheap ones, and you can spend time doing a nice paint job on the one you like - just don't actually use it 😛
