I get a fairly reliable connection to berkely... anyone wanting to use my queue, is free to do so... it is on cable, so its not gonna be exceptionally fast, but its better than no WU's... address is fifthfactor.dns2go.com:5501

<edit>
speed is 2Mbps down, 480kbps up, Canada West (interior of BC)

Engineer - on my Comcast cable connection, I've always been capped at 128K up (sortof verified by about how many people could reliably play UT on my game box... :p). Not sure what'll happen when they do the big switchover here next week. :(

I have edited your info though.

Also Factor5 & serialb - got ya covered! :D

I just checked on OK's queue and HOT DASM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He got relief!!!!!!!!! ALL RESULTS SENT!! :D

NO MORE CONSTIPATION!!!!!!! :p

I have removed the "OVERLOADED" from his entry, however, I think we need to be aware that the condition could happen again if we're not prudent. :)

Hey,
Couldn't we recruit someone at Berkeley, and have them setup a SETIQ for the team? Maybe they would have a better connection on the internal network? ;););)

Poof,
I had Comcast Cable here in Sacramento one and half years ago, got 6Mbps down and 1.5Mbps up. All that changed when AT and bloody T got their hands on it :( Droppped to 2.5Mbps down and 128Kbps up overnight. Then the service went downhill from there. I've been with *corf* Pacbell DSL for 6 months and surprised the service has been mostly great.
Moral of this is JUST HOPE AT$T isn't the one taking over (used the $ on purpose lol )

Glad to see Berkeley is nice and fast over the weekend, and OK's Queue is finally able to flush thoroughly. :)

However, I just wanted to remind people that it's a good idea to start a user account on at least one of the other TeAm SetiQueues while Berkeley is flowing. When it's not, you can't start a new account for the first time. :eek:

To secure your own queue on any SetiQueue, all you have to do is download, complete, and return 1 WU. Then you've got your own queue that will be refilled according to your production. My SetiQueue (siren.2y.net:5001) is set to not delete old clients, so you won't lose your account once created. Some of the other clients are as well, I think.

Anyway, it pays to be prepared!!! :D
