Well my wife says we need to spend more money on non-essentials things like food, gas, water, bills, blah, blah. I say to helll with that! I need more computers so I can have different video cards, mb, sound cards, cpu's in each one. Just to try out of course.

I'd have a computer in every room of the house if I could afford it! I'd love to have a home network setup. I don't really need it, but I think it would kick as* to be able to play with all the computers on the network. 🙂

I am getting closer though. When my mb gets back to me, I'll have two computers up and running. 🙂 I'm assuming my 1.1g TBird will whoop asss in RC5.

Yeah tj, sounding a little on the obsessed side. T-Bird is good at RC5, among other things, and on a clock-for-clock comparison of the P3, is on another level.

Yeah, occasionally I step back and watch a dvd or something. Then I start thinking of progressive scan dvd players, massive subwoofers, power amps to add to my Denon, better speakers..............

I'm hopeless. 🙂

I have that problem too.. As soon as I can get some cash, I'll be getting a new CPU/Mobo just for cracking..

Durons will be a better deal for cracking then T-Birds, as cracking doesnt need as much cache.. But if you wanted to change to SETI later, or another project, then a T-Bird might be a better option..

My next decision will be hard, more parts for the computer or an amp for my subwoofer. I guess if that's the biggest decision I have to make life is good!
