One of my high school buddies is in Korea (Seoul), teaching English and clearing close ot $50,000 a year. Is this possible? or is he pulling my leg.

Ask him where he is doing it and how much living expenses are, etc. I'd be willing to do that!

Think about how easy it would be and you could learn Korean!

I'd be pretty tall there, right? I'm 6'3".

I can't imagine making that much money unless your a private tutor. I can't imagine them paying that much though.

Teaching English is popular in Asian countries. You could make 50k teaching in Taiwan easy.

However, I read in the LA Times that Chinese is actually more popular now in Korea since alot of Asian countries are recognizing China as the next economic super power.
