The OP said he would be out of there by 2:25, end of story no big deal.

There is no need to threaten to unplug a computer. I don't understand why people care so much and need to create conflict or drama about small crap.

I fail to see how the instructor was being a massive prick. I think if anybody was acting like an ass, it was you. I think what is worse than professors who think they own the lab are the arrogant students who think they do.

Exactly, the professor is there to teach a class. What if he needed the few minutes to install a program on all the PCs or something.
You have the same attitude most kids have now in that you think you are entitled to anything you want.

You shoulda pulled out your 45s and filled him with holes. Then killed all the #@&^ students who showed up for class. Then destroyed the computer lab, and burned the school to the ground! Then nuked the state the school was in!

I think I've seen you driving on the road.

I don't see anything wrong with what the teacher did.

If you were in my classroom/lab, I'd tell you the same thing-- GTFO!!

Doesn't your school have computer labs set aside for student use only?

yes. i happened to not be in that area at the time.
And the other labs are student labs as well as long as a teacher isnt running a class in there.

when I used to teach labs, we used to get students to leave by 5 minutes before the next class began since the incoming students would need to logon and hence be ready to learn at the time class started.
I've had to kick people off machines before, but then again there are rooms specifically set aside for students and hence never have a class taught in them.
