Was thinking about home schooling my kids, now I might ship them off to Morocco.

When I cut up in class, I was sent out in the hall where I could not be a distraction.

Should have told the teacher to go play hide and go F* themself. In this day and age they probably would have for fear of being sued for not listening to their students requests. No kids are culpable for any of their actions

Yes, this is what we really need in the US. We need to go back to teaching our kids that they are just stupid and should, always, always, always, listen to authority figures and punish not listening to authority figures with painful and demeaning punishments. Not only will this teach them that violence is the way to deal with your problems, but it will also turn them into tools of incredible size, unable to even think for themselves.

Old people frequently whine about how bad kids are today because they don't think, act or talk like their parents. Am I the only one who thinks this is a good thing? I mean, right now the parents of people from my generation (around age 20 or so), are doing a pretty crappy job running things. Personally I think it's good that each generation does stuff that the previous generation doesn't like. No one is perfect, but the more we cling to one way of thinking, the less progress we'll have.

Your generation is a bunch of whiny self-absorbed pussies who think the world owes them something. So your ideal system doesn't work either...

The stupid kids will probably come to school with guns and shoot the damn teacher for throwing them out the window.

During my interview (I'm a teacher), I asked about discipline... the superintendent explained: "We don't have discipline problems. Once a week, we line up all the students outside and execute the student with the most office referrals." He was joking of course ;)

Had that happened here you can guarantee a long, drawn-out legal battle with lots of dollar signs floating around!

For some reason as soon as I read that I thought about the "Defenestration of Prague", where the ambassador of some country was through out of a window :) ... perhaps these kids were learning about European History and diplomacy!
