She's not going to get noticed by a student on the charter boat, no... Every single student in that school has seen her in this way already. Granted, it was in their head, but still... If she was my teacher, I would have been expelled for masturbating in class.

But district officials say Shepherd was doing something wrong, it just didn't have anything to do with her after-school activities. They say Shepherd missed more than 30 days of school this year and received two written reprimands for the absences.

She says she did not get due process before getting fired. They just let her go as soon as they found out about her part time job.
 
If she missed that many days without approval from the principal of the school, the schoolboard has rights to fire her. My mother's a teacher and only gets 2 personal days between September and June. It's the price you pay for having summers off.

Yet in some parts of the country we have teachers that were busted for having sex with students just sitting in empty classrooms and getting paid for it, because the district can't fire them due to the strength of the union.

Unrelated question...does anyone else hate the fact that everything on the CNN/FoxNews websites is in video form now? Normally I prefer to read my news on the internet.

Same here, I hate watching video for my news. If I wanted that I would have my television hooked up.
