It's chemical. He probably reminded her of a guy she crushed on in high school and he was grown enough to fill the frame of a grown man. Sexual attraction is a powerful thing.
 
As I've gotten much older and far beyond high school, I find myself very impressed with some high schoolers I run into thru family or friend's kids etc. From this side of the hill, it's easier to see ones that you know have their sh!t together and are far more sensible and charismatic than oneself ever was back in the day. And physically these days, I'm not going to go there in detail but kids are developing unbelievably early and 'thoroughly'. This 'teacher/student' thing we keep hearing about isn't going to end anytime soon.

To be fair this has happened at any time but it's just now with social media and such it leaks more especially as kids these days don't know how to keep their mouths shut and enjoy a good thing.

Another guy comes forward, now 23, says he had sex with her when he was 17. And says he liked it LOL.

BTW sex between an adult and a 16 or 17 year old in CA is illegal but it's a misdemeanor. Unless there's a special statute for teachers and their students that I'm not aware of, she'll be fired and fined. That is all.

Well, I'm not quite sure what it explains. Being 23 and attractive, I'm fairly certain she could have found plenty of guys 18 and over, not her students, who would have been interested.

Could have. But why? Intimacy is fueled by proximity and the ones she became attracted to were right in front of her. A mere 4-5 years apart, nearly her own peers. You don't feel like a different person a few years later. It every respect she still felt like a girl who belonged there with those guys.

After it became habit, she grew older, the males in front of her did not. She remained young enough to hook them. Again, if you gave them 40-45+ year old teachers, the probabilities for this attraction dwindle immensely. Problem practically solves itself.

You don't put a young vibrant female in with a bunch of teenage males and think no one in the room is warm blooded.
