through most of my school career I have been able to go through the majority of classes without a lot of time spent studying........

Now that I have made it to college I think I have found one class that I ACTUALLY NEEDed TO STUDY for in order TO GET A DECENT GRADE in .......

I have tried everything....I sit down and read the notes for 4 hours...read the book for 3 hours....make up questions.... nothing works

Its basically an Earth Science course with a fancy title name :(

So anyone, I need tips Plz!!!

thks in advance

You DEFINITELY should not be here. Speak to some advisors at your school, go to the learning center (you must have something like this at your school). Use the resources that are readily bloody well available to you!

you definitely shouldn't be at AnandTech, that will not help you! Go to google.com and try to look up stuff on study skills maybe? Otherwise speak to someone in PERSON.

do the homework that is assigned, go talk to the professor when you have problems

I was getting really overwhelmed with the volume of stuff I have to try to read and remember for the MCSE exams.I'd read and read, highlight stuff and an hour later couldn;t remember half of it. It was suggested to me that I get a tape recorder and as I go thru each chapter that I should record the points and highlights I felt were most important.I'm finding it's very helpful, I'm retaining more of what I'm reading and feeling much less frustrated with studying. Hope this helps a bit.

I agree...I am addicted to the computer :(

ATF, IRC and just browsing waste a huge amount of my time :(

I can't avoid it, its like a drug (that is sad) :(
