Hahaha I love this thread.

Like this election has everything to do with Obama's policies and nothing to do with the economy.

It's coming. The tidal wave is coming. There is nothing liberals can do to stop We The People. We're strong, we're motivated and we're united. Tax paying, hard working citizens of this country have simply had enough. No RINO's. No liberals. NOBAMA.

Wonder how large the unemployed contingent represents your "tidal wave"?

A movement that doesn't really stand for anything but voter disatisfaction isn't going to accomplish much.

Obama's policies, words, deed and actions are the CAUSE of this economy continuing on it's current path. I would bet a large group of the unemployed are also part of the tidal wave, they used to have jobs. Obama gets in office and they lose their job and Obama goes around bad mouthing their employers.

This election is all about rejecting Obama and his destructive policies. He can be stopped, he WILL be stopped in just 8 days.

Please tell me that someone took Spidey up on this bet before "Witchgate" came out :)

It's already on like donkey kong. Scott Brown won "kennedy's seat" in a special election. Voter turnout is the decider. Let's hope for rain in Delaware to keep lazy democrats at home.

You don't honestly expect the tea party to come out and rally for a candidate who's recently proven that she doesn't even have a basic understanding of the Constitution... do you?

She was correct. The Constitution makes no mention of separation of church and state. Please do provide me where it does.

Basic understanding of anything doesn't matter to a TPer. Spidey proves that in spades.
As long as it goes against the terrorist-kenyan-mooslim-socialist-black guy in the whitehouse they don't give a shit.

The First Amendment indeed does not contain the phrase "Separation of Church and State"; it merely contains the concept.

Honestly, I'd have some respect for the Tea Party Express if they admitted that they screwed up by endorsing O'Donnell to begin with.

Do you seriously expect anyone involved in the Tea Party to have any knowledge of the constitution? Education is elitism after all.

If you actually watched the whole video you would know that she said "really?!" after he mentioned, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion"

The separation of church and state part came after that.

First amendment, but you have to figure it out, funny thing is, no one has any problems figuring out how the second amendment works even though it is LESS clear and LESS supported as interpreted by the founding fathers...

Then again, your hero said that the constitution is just a goddamn piece of paper and the TEA partiers have been pissing all over it in claims of GOD over people, you know, like all the people you mentioned who have claimed that rights of the constitution may not apply to all citizens...

Of course, you know nothing what so ever, that is what you always use for a defence when you are called on it, that you "didn't believe it was meant like that", right?

Doesn't seem like Spidey has much of a sense of "all politics is local". Anti-intellectual, ideological purist candidates like O'Donnell aren't who the mass of voters in Delaware want representing them in the US Senate. She's got about a snowball's chance in Hell. She makes quite a case for scrapping closed party primaries.

And Scott Brown didn't win "Kennedy's seat" because MA voters suddenly all got hard-ons for Republicans. More like Coakley's shit stank so bad that clothespins didn't even ward it off.

Gov. Patrick will most likely get re-elected next week. His GOP opponent is somewhat close in the polls, but really not close enough.

Can't wait to see the scanned image of Spidey's check when he loses this one :)

So did someone actually bet Spidey $500? I admit, I thought about doing it myself. :) While I enjoy the thought of a Democrat getting booted, I don't think this is a place it will happen.

I don't think he's got that sort of cash.

He seems like the stereotyping teabagger / ron paul nut. Very little grasp of policy/law/economics and more than enough arrogance and delusion of his superior intellect to know that he's correct.

Nothing like arguing the superficial and letting the abstract concept fly right over your head...

Spidey always seems to protray himself as a big-shot network consultant who's always buying himself expensive toys when he posts on ATOT, so I'd think that he's good for the $500.

Either that, or he's just a really consistent troll. It's hard to tell around here sometimes. Either way, I'd nominate this thread for pwnage of the year.

Much like the Tea Party's message, your posts are long on rhetoric and completely lacking any substancial evidence to prove your points.

I suspect that if the economy were doing well no flowers would be thrown Obama's way, that it would be despite his efforts, not because of.

You have no proof that Obama's policies have hurt the economy, because frankly it would be very difficult to prove in the short term, which is what we are dealing with.

I think that no matter if you're a Republican or a Democrat, a tea-partier or a super socialist, we can all agree that Christine O'Donnell is an idiot that should not be elected to any office.

Perknose did. it's pretty early in this thread, iirc.

Delawarians agree, too. ...which is why they've SOUNDLY rejected her some 5+ times over the previous 15 years.

:D

again, Karl Rove abandoned Delaware the day of this primary. Even the "John the Baptist" of the neocon movement has lost all hope here.
