Tea Party Rehab -- Part Deux

The rehabbed New New Tea Party Express is currently holding a press conference available over the Internet.

All the faces are of color 😀 and it comes roughly two weeks after Tea Party Express leader Mark Williams kicked out over 'Colored People' letter.

The first speaker was from the Conservative Moms For America whose moto is "Americans coming together to take back America for God" and intent is to reclaim America from the 'Socialists'.

If you can find the feed (and the time) it's interesting stuff. They seem to be rather aggressively attacking the NAACP with some outstanding hyperbole.

And they just forgave Mark Wiliams - LOL

Sorry, but I can think of few more terrible fates for the country and its people than its actually becoming some kind of "Christian Nation".

I would have to oppose such a transition out of pure patriotism if nothing else.

I only wish good things for my country.
 
I'm sorry, but I find too much similarity between a party dedicated "to take back America for God" and a fundamentalist Islamic state run by Muslim clerics.

Both are driven to make decisions based on religion and I firmly believe religion has no place in government.

Now riddle me this, what is the tea party? Somewhat a riddle rapped up an enigma.

What does a tea party and a non-tea party member look like, how can we tell if someone is a tea party member or not, can we tell what the difference is, do T party members wear T's on their Turban's?

As a dimocrat I submit the tea party is far less organized than dimocrats. Composed of a pile of nuts with the free floating anxiety of taking their government back without a clue of what proper government should be.

Worse yet, because the Tea party refuses to define what is is and instead decides any national organization movement is incompatible with T-Party principles.

Back getting back the the original OP post, does the views of Mark Williams represent the Tea party(s).

Tell me that and we will both know.

The country is not, was not, and never will be a Theocracy. That doesn't mean, though, that some people may not feel the need for some kind of moral code by which politicians (and citizens) should abide. They feel that code should be related to Christianity. You feel that moral code should be something else.

Your refusal to acknowledge the validity of their opinion just because you do not share it is a dictionary definition of intolerance.

And you're free to vote against them. However, don't vote against them because of the labels they put on the adgendas they're pushing, but rather vote against them because the issues they support run contrary to your beliefs.

If they were to say that lying is against the Ten Commandments and therefore should not be tolerated from our politicians, does it make the overall idea of the issue any less valid because they use a religious moral code to justify it in their eyes as opposed to using the common sense moral code that others might use to demand truth from politicians?

The TEA Party isn't a political party, it's nothing but groups of grassroots activist under one "flag", not real confusing stuff.

No, his views do not represent the "TEA Party", they may reflect views of members, but then again, they reflect views of members of the democrat party too.

Kinda sounds almost like it's exactly what I said, now isn't it?

The earth is provably not flat, so your example sucks. There is no way of proving that their ideas of morality are any better or worse than your ideas of morality. The intolerance is not in not accepting their ideas, but rather not accepting the idea that they are allowed to have their own ideas.

He never wrote that they should not be allowed to run, merely that he would feel compelled to vote against them. Can you admit your own intolerance for his viewpoint?

As for "no Theocracy", do you recall this?
