People are already creeped out that a sitting president organizes protests against citizens protesting. When the MoveOn/Soros/Center For American Progress (still Soros) led DNC uses synthetic organizing tactics featuring union goons, illegals and unemployed grifters then Obama can only make things worse for himself. Aug 08 is gone and people know what Obama is. These Dem machine rallies can compete with genuine and spontaneous rallies of citizens. The contrast created is going to be like night and day. Obama and Co might well end up doing something more desperate such as staging something "provocative" to try and slander protesters. That's the level this bunch will sink too.

Yo dawg I heard you like protests....

So people coming out on their own to a town hall and voicing the same message is "AstroTurf" according to Pelosi....

...I wonder what she will have to say about these meetings?

A Bus Tour? LOL

It is funny how the "AstroTurf" crowd has only homemade signs, yet the "real grass roots" crowd has manufactured signs....I wonder how that works?!?!?!

Tea parties bad - reform rallies good if sponsored by democrats? Democrats sponsored tea parties?

I'd go to see whats going on, but in my state we only get tea parties. The lefties typically keep a much more low-key profile down here...so I can't really judge as much.

Who said Democrats sponsored tea parties? Is there another thread somewhere?

That was the point.....they weren't. I was commenting on the title/description of the thread as it seemed....odd.

One day the right winged wackos will awaken the silent majority and they will get stomped on.

But the title CLEARLY says "rallies". Are you intentionally trying to put words in my mouth?

Every credible poll clearly states that you have that backwards.
