Believe it or not, I just picked up some Tung Ting Oolong at a local tea shop. I'm really looking forward to trying it. Have you been able to sustain multiple infusions with it? The leaves smelled a lot sweeter and more delicate than the other oolongs I've had.

Anyway, where's the love for Darjeeling tea in this thread?:(

occasionally, pre-packaged lemon iced tea on a hot day!

Why was that white darjeeling tea so good?

Because for me it retained some of the essential Darjeeling qualities (like the aroma and the muscatel flavour), while adding some amazing floral notes. It was a bitch to brew though, and had to be steeped just right; a little longer, and it became too tannic, atleast for my taste

a friend was telling me their supervisor at college (who is japenese) brews their green tea at 80 degrees (not boiling) and only lets it sit for a minute or two at the most.
