The 100% certified ones are not made by TDK and aren't too good of quality. The Certified Plus CDRs from TDK are of exceptional quality, but they are quite a bit more expensive.

haven't used the certified, but i've used the certified plus quite a bit and they do rock. anyone else know about the ones advertised ?

Yeah, I bought a 100 pack of TDKs a little while ago from CompUSA for $20 (with MIR), and I ran CDRIdentifier on them, and it turns out they were Ritek, which supposedly is one of the worst quality manufacturers of CDRs.
