mine are CRC Magnetics, but they work fine at 40X on my Lite On 40x12x48. Some could be Taiyo Yuden too. But still, naven't found many CDRs that can burn at 40X and accually be red by other CDROMs so far for so cheap.

the costco i went to dont have any taiyo yudens at all, NONE after i almost went through all of them

here's how you distinguish between them:
the blue surface ones are most likely taiyo yuden
the light green ones are CRC (whatever it is) magnetics
made in japan ones are most likely taiyo yudens

FYI: these are 24X CDRs, I have a 16x so I don't really care... it's about 20 cents per CDR after rebate!

I have some sony CDRs left and they were taiyo yudens... it was 9.99 after rebate in Bestbuy like months ago!

I bought one pack March 28th for $34.99 with $20 rebate. It is now $29.99 for sure?

btw how in the heck do you burn at 32X or 40X. I bought a liteon32X and can only burn at 24X. I tried
the latest nero 5.5.8.0 and discjuggler 3.5.830. Perhaps it's just the media. I'll put in the TDK 32X cdrs I bought from costco.
