I bought these at BJ's a few weeks ago for $32.99 with a rebate. I bought them because it said made in taiwan, I was hopinh they would be taiyo yuden, but they are riteks.

I was in Durham Costco today. Initially, the only trace of a rebate I saw was on the price sign for these CDRs. I had the same concern as you. I asked about it at the membership desk, and the lady said the MIR form would print out on your receipt when you bought them. Sure enough, she was right...

TY's are made in Japan, not Taiwan. Look for the Made in Japan label instead...

Also, I checked out my local BJ's. Sure enough, the TDKs there were made in Taiwan, like yours. However, right beside them, were FujiFilm CDRs that were made in Japan for $30. I'd say there's a good chance those are TYs, if you can find them in your local BJ's.

Just picked up a spindle of these today at a Bay Area Costco.
$20 mail in rebate was printed on the reciept, just like all Costco MIR's.

Rated to 32X and can't beat the price! I remember when these were $1 each! 🙂
