The coupon is good from anywhere, but it has to be the mailin rebate form thats on the box. no copys or printouts.
 
just sold my 2 year old scsi 4x8 sony on fleabay for $100, now deciding between this or the scsi 8x4x32 yamaha.
 
vaylon I was told this morning by the TDK CSR i could use a printed rebate from the compusa.com site. I may have to check on that again if you have a good source for your info.

FRGLSS, I looked on the compusa site and couldn't find the rebate form. The only one I have seen so far is the one from Circity. The tdk rep I spoke with did not even know about the rebate till I gave her the web link.She then got to talk to her manager and they looked it up.
Heres another potential problem- The rebate is going thru the rebate fullfilment company in Phoenix. This company is a real pain in the a$$ when it comes to getting your rebate. Took me almost a year to get a Kingston rebate from them.

But heres some good news, when dealing with this fullfilment center, if you have a problem dont go thru them they will just have you jumping thru hoops. Contact the company of the product you purchased. you will usally get your check in a couple of weeks.
This is a very good deal and these are exactly the same as plextors.
 
vaylon, my bad. I was thinking about another deal and mis-typed. It is circuitcity.com not compusa.com that has the rebate posted. Sorry for any problems and thanks for the info.
 
Don't think we are allowed to post the Buy.com coupons here... but if you go to a TECHnical BARGAINS.COM site... you should be able to find it there (ahem... delete the "nical" and put everything in uppercase together... and you'll find the place).

My bad. I guess you talking about my link. I didn't want to hide the link, and give it some kind of name like TDK VELO CD with 50 CDR Bundle. Why? This way, someone can copy the link and save it instead of being forced to go to the site. And if you are talking about the clicksynergy thing, I was given that by a friend, so I didn't really feel like going through buy.com to find the real link. Not sure if you can link directly like that anyway.
