Be careful. Right now they seem to be offering the Phenom X3 8400. That has got the TLB bug. The 8450 is bug fixed.

The listings are very confusing. Read this page carefully - same Mobo & CPU for $69..99 + shipping after $13 rebate

Can you figure out which CPU you'll get. Will it be the "8400" (Bug), "8450" (Bug fixed) or the "8450e" (Bug fixed and low TDP?

I called and asked and was told I'd get the "8450e" and that the page would be fixed. That was 3 days ago. Page hasn't been fixed. So - BE CAREFUL

It now lists this: # AMD Phenom X3 8450e 2.1Ghz AM2+ OEM CPU

Assuming it is fixed now ???

I just want to say that this computer has been OUTSTANDING for the price. I threw W7 Pro on it, and I'm using it for:

1) A Minecraft server with ~8 people in it on average
2) A TVersity server, transcoding and streaming 720p
3) A Subsonic server, which usually has 3-4 people connected at once
4) A POP/IMAP mail server with just one user
5) A Ventrilo server
6) An IIS HTTP server
7) An Filezilla FTP server
8) I also use it for network storage, as well as Mozy backups

The computer has been a champ, never once has it given me a problem. It rarely goes over 25% CPU usage, though it does sit at about 1.5 GB's of memory. I did throw an extra GB of RAM into it.

Just figured I'd let ya'll know. If anyone is on the rocks about making the dive, I'd highly recommend it!

The link works for me, and it is the 9750 CPU.

Anyone know if this will do a decent (budget) job of editing AVCHD camcorder home movies using Corel VideoStudio Pro X3? My Dell Vostro 220 with a Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 lags big time trying to edit video. I need to upgrade, but on a budget, obviously, or I wouldn't be considering something in this price range. I could use the 4GB of PC2-6400 I have in the Dell, as well as my super old ATI Radeon HD 4600 for dual monitors.

If this will also lag, stutter, or crash for HD video editing, someone please let me know, and I will kindly move on. 😉

Thanks in advance to anyone who might have more insight to this sort of thing than I do.

Also to note, this is the 95w 9750 that was only available to oems. This is much preferred because cooling the retail 125w one on a budget might not be too easy.
