TCWO and Life Savers ? What gives...

Hey Guy's,
I just got my AMD XP 2000+ CPU in from TCWO and when I open the package, I had a roll of life savers in ther.. un-opended and everything.. What gives ? Why is this in my box ?

i got a black DVD drive,a black disk drive and a 1.3 Duron chip.....I think I shorted out the CPU...(actually i only found a wrapper of the regular) what date did you order you stuff?

and nope it doesnt need to be a large order... several of my orders from them were for a single duron (total cost under $40) and they always had lifesavers

I just ordered my stuff like 3 days ago.. Haven't tested anything becuase it's going in my new system I'm building. I just wanted to make sure that their product didn't suck and they send those to be nice and make up for it or something.

I got one too but I threw it away. One time I ordered something from the net and it came with M&M I threw that away too. That was when the Anthrax was in the head line news everyday. I don't like Chocolate anyway.

I haven't ordered from them in a long time because I live just across the state from them on the East caost and the sales tax normally makes the price so that Newegg or Mwave have what I'm after for less even after shipping Maybe if they get some cases I really want for client's builds at the right price I'll order since then the $6.95 shipping on 150lbs or less would be a huge thing.

I was pretty freaked out by the life savers when I got my order. I thought some packaging guy might have dropped it in by accident. When I started putting together my system, I noticed that my mouth gets really dry while waiting for windows xp to install. So they're good for something.

Hey Dapunisher, I thought that it was all tax free if you order from out of state? It is here. That would make it a better deal right? I think they lowered shipping to $3.95 too cause I see that on pricewatch now it's listed as that.

Hehe I got a rainbow pack of lifesavers with my order or an Athlon XP 1900+ and I thought my dad had thrown them in with the stuff I got sent to me but he said it came from them. I still have the pack unopened because I didn't know if it was a joke or not.

You misunderstood me, I mean they are in Tampa and I'm in Cocoa Beach area (Tampa west coast, Cocoa Beach east coast) of Florida and we have a 6% sales tax here. BTW the 3.95$ is the starting rate for Fed Ex and the 6.95$ is the set UPS ground freight rate for orders under a 150lbs
