Got my AV7 and Tbird 800 in today. Pencil trick worked like a charm. 950 looks good at 1.8v, although I'll be happy with 900 at 1.75 (Copper Alpha PAL 603?)
No post at 1GHz, didn't try 1.85. I'm scared of messing up my investment
Even better yet, my pc100 memory is running at 133 (so far, 2 hours of Quake3 didn't hurt it a bit).
I was hesitent to jump onto the VIA bandwagon but this platform has impressed me so far.
My Geforce2 seems to be in AGP2x mode fast writes off. Not that I mind, I enjoy stability Has anyone documented the performance boost by going 2x->4x->4x fast writes? Is this something I should investigate?
