He's not hot, and his songs are too bubble gummy for me. If Swift was ever really interested in him I'd bet it's just infatuation over an older guy in the business.
 
Taylor Swift is a strange looking broad. She might be famous, but everyone here who actually leaves the house for 30 mins a day sees more attractive women on a daily basis.
 
19 in hollywood is practically over the hill in normal years. He was probably sloppy seconds.....no no more like sloppy 12ths

Um no..he wouldn't.

I went to a concert of his WAY before he got big. It was at a glorified coffee shop/bar type deal with a large backroom where they put on small concerts. The concert was decent (I don't mind his music so much) and the two girls I was with were commenting on how cute he was singing up on stage. As soon as he got done, he started mingling with the crowd and was trying his hardest to hook up with girls. This immediately turned off so many girls as he wasn't very good looking to begin with (and was not all buff like he is these days). Even the two girls I was with completely lost interest in him after this. By the end of the night he was desperately trying to hook up with two 45+ year old women who were obviously out for a girls night. Finally the two of them just walked off and he just sat there looking like a sad pup. Only a few years later I remember seeing a video of him up on stage after he made it big with tons of 15 year old girls trying to get up on stage with him...and it made me think of that night where he couldn't get laid as hard as he tried and now he probably just has to whip it out and multiple girls start fighting over who gets to latch on first.

Seriously, i think YOU are better looking than John Mayer. How's that for reinforcing my opinion?

He's pulled down hot women in the business, sure, but he never stays with them. You can say it's because he's a "ladies man", but we can't be sure that he has other issues that send the ladies themselves packing.

It's about the magic of that lead singer...it's many an american girl's dream.

I know not all the women buy that. 9 times out of 10 he's just going to leave them feel slutted...to me that's not cool.

Pretty common behavior by most single males in relationships that don't work out, and I'm sure you're guilty of it as well back in the day.
